Waterstone foundation

Eating disorders are a leading cause of death and have the highest mortality rate of any psychiatric illness. That’s tragic. The wait time for those in urgent need of accessing care and treatment is way too long in our public health care system. Waterstone has an important role to play in helping people who are falling through the cracks in the system get the care they need - faster.

As the Foundation grew to have more donors and was able to provide greater financial support for more individuals in need, their visual identity needed to evolve too. So when founder, Kim Duffy, asked me to get involved to help take the Foundation’s brand to the next level, I jumped in.

Partnering with David Thorne Branding & Design, I wrote the strategic creative brief and project managed the development of a new logo and website. I created the content strategy and a simple navigation system so that all stakeholders could find the information they needed easily, in a welcoming and supportive environment. I also created additional content for the site.

Waterstone’s new and professional visual identity and website supported the Foundation in reaching out to a larger donor base than ever before.

“The website looks absolutely incredible. It’s exactly what I hoped for! The logo is so beautiful. You truly nailed it.”
