Turning Hydrovac Waste Into Environmental Riches

ISR views hydrovac waste as a resource awaiting its next use.  Using the latest technology, they change hydrovac liquid soil & slurry into valued resources.  Recycled water is used to refill hydrovac trucks.  Fine aggregates and sand are washed and extracted to meet the Ontario Provincial Standard Specification and used to refill excavated holes.  Silts and clays are converted from waste into clean fill.

In short, ISR turns what was once considered liquid industrial waste into locally sourced, recycled and renewed materials that are good for the environment.

When this innovative new company approached me to help position a new category of hydrovac waste management, I jumped at the opportunity to work with an environmental leader. ISR needed an visual identity and a compelling website that dug deep into the customer benefits of working with ISR.

Once again, I teamed up with David Thorne Branding to deliver a best in class product for our client. Following our off to the right start process, including a discovery meeting with our client, I wrote the strategic creative brief. The brief was used as a springboard for ISR’s new logo and visual identity and to begin the organizational structure and content strategy for the website.

“Yvette quickly understood our complex operational process. She presented it in simplified and accessible language so that our customers could easily see the benefits of working with ISR. The whole process progressed seamlessly and efficiently. I am thrilled with the results.” Ashley Herman, President, Intelligent Soil Recycling
